Biography:

Shy Jackson is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) in London, specialising in construction and engineering disputes with over 25 years of experience. He advises on complex UK and international infrastructure projects across sectors including energy, transportation, and real estate. Shy is widely recognised for his expertise in major contract forms such as FIDIC, JCT, and especially NEC, on whose Contract Board he sits. His practice spans arbitration, adjudication, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution. Shy is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors. In addition to his legal practice, he lectures at King’s College London and the University of Stuttgart and frequently contributes to leading construction law publications.
