Professor Janet Walker CM is an internationally renowned independent arbitrator based in Toronto (Canada), London (UK), and Sydney (Australia). She has acted as sole, presiding, and co-arbitrator in over 100 commercial and investor-state arbitrations under the rules of major institutions including ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, ICDR, DIAC, KCAB, PCA, and in ad hoc proceedings. Her experience spans construction, energy, pharma, finance, environmental, and IP disputes. Janet is a Distinguished Research Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, author of Canada’s leading text on private international law, and a member of the Order of Canada. She serves on the panels of many major arbitration centres and is recognized by Who’s Who Legal, Chambers & Partners, and Best Lawyers.
