Biography:

Vice President of the Supreme Court and served as a Supreme Court Judge for 14 years. Served as Chairman of the Central Election Committee.

After his retirement, he was elected President of the Press Council and was also appointed Chairman of Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings.

Experience:

Between 1977 and 2007, he practiced law in the private sector

Between 1998 and 2002, he was a lecturer in administrative law at Bar-Ilan University

Between 1994 and 2010, he was a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University

In 2007, he was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court

In 2017, he was appointed to the position of Deputy President of the Supreme Court

Between 2017 and 2020, he was a member of the Committee for the Appointment Of Judges

He served as the Chairman of the Central Election Committee of the elections to the 21st and 22nd Knesset

In 2021, he was elected President of the Press Council

In 2022, he was appointed Chairman of Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings
