Ilia Rachkov, PhD, LL.M., MCIArb, is a partner at NSP (Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners) in Moscow, specializing in international arbitration, dispute resolution, and trade law. With over 25 years of legal practice, Ilia has represented Russian and international clients – including corporations, banks, and state entities – in complex disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals in Russia and abroad. He is listed as a recommended arbitrator by leading arbitration centers in Russia and internationally, and has acted as arbitrator in numerous institutional and ad hoc arbitrations across Europe and Central Asia.
Ilia holds a doctorate in law from the Russian Academy of Sciences and an LL.M. from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), teaches international economic law at MGIMO University, and serves on the Scientific Advisory Council of the Russian Ministry of Justice.
