George Burn is a partner and global co-leader of the International Arbitration Practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. With over 25 years of experience, he is a leading specialist in investor-state and international commercial arbitration, frequently acting as both arbitrator and counsel. George has handled disputes under all major arbitral rules (ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, SCC, HKIAC, AAA-ICDR, and PCA), involving projects across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. He is particularly noted for resolving complex high-value cases in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, defence, finance, and mining. Recognised in Legal 500’s Hall of Fame and Best Lawyers, George is also a member of the ICC UK Arbitration Committee and a frequent speaker at international forums.
