Biography:

Duarte Henriques is an experienced lawyer and arbitrator based in Lisbon with over 35 years of legal practice in international arbitration, litigation, and cross-border disputes. He acts as counsel and arbitrator – including as chair, sole, and co-arbitrator – in commercial, construction, banking, IP, and investment arbitration under numerous institutional and ad hoc rules. Duarte is the founding partner of Victoria Associates and regularly collaborates with international law firms on complex disputes. He is ranked by Who’s Who Legal as a Global and Thought Leader in Arbitration, and serves on the panels of leading arbitral institutions including HKIAC, CIETAC, SIAC, SVAMC, and others.
