Prof. Dr. Anton Asoskov is one of Russia’s most distinguished arbitration experts, with over 120 appointments as arbitrator in international proceedings. He is a member of the governing bodies of leading arbitral institutions including the HKIAC, DIS, ICAC, and RAC, and sits on the panels of major centres such as VIAC, KCAB, SCIA, and AIAC. His practice spans commercial and investment disputes, often involving complex issues of private and comparative law.
In parallel with his arbitration work, Prof. Asoskov held prominent academic positions for over two decades at Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Alexeev Research Centre of Private Law, where he taught courses in international arbitration, civil law, and conflict of laws. He has authored or co-authored over 100 publications, including leading textbooks and commentaries in both Russian and English, and is a co-editor of Private International Law in Russia (Hart, 2024).
