Dr. Adv. Gideon Fisher, FCIArb, is the founder and senior partner of Dr. Gideon Fisher & Co. law firm, a certified Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb)
Dr. Adv. Fisher serves as the Chairman of the Israeli Chamber of Arbitrators, Chairman of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee of the Israeli Bar Association, and President of the Dr. Fisher Center for the Training of Arbitrators in Israel.
Dr. Adv. Fisher is a former judge at the International Commercial Arbitration Court of the ICC, Chairman of the ICC International Arbitration Committee in Israel, and President of the Cambridge University Alumni Association in Israel.
Dr. Adv. Fisher has authored dozens of professional articles, and among his books are “The Arbitration Revolution in the Light of International Commercial Arbitration” (published by the Israeli Bar Association) and “Arbitration in the Business World” (edited by Judge Dr. Eliyahu Winograd).
Dr. Adv. Fisher is a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, Tel Aviv University, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Senior Officers’ School.
Dr. Adv. Fisher’s experience in international arbitration includes serving as an arbitrator in international institutions, as well as providing legal counsel to foreign corporations in arbitration proceedings in the fields of energy, infrastructure, aviation, and tenders for multinational projects.
